Latvian Car of the Year is a new car evaluation competition that has been held in Latvia since 1997. Since 2012, the organizer of the contest is Māris Ozoliņš. The jury consists of auto journalists, auto technical experts, motor sportsmen and invited honorary members. The purpose of the competition is to evaluate the new cars that are available on the Latvian market and to inform the public about them.
